Assemblyman Jay Obernolte, R-Hesperia, on Thursday announced he had received top scores from taxpayer protection and pro-business groups for his 2015 voting record.

Every year these organizations track legislative votes and release a report card ranking legislators on their performance regarding important tax and business issues.

Those issuing high marks to Obernolte’s record include the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association, California Taxpayers Association, National Federation of Independent Business, California Small Business Association, California Chamber of Commerce and the California Manufactures and Technology Association.
