Assemblyman Jay Obernolte this week announced finalists for the first Top Chamber Business Awards Ceremony on Saturday, showcasing outstanding businesses and local Chambers within the 33rd Assembly District.

In Adelanto, the finalists are: Desert Community Bank, GEO Group, Inc. and Heritage Victor Valley Medical Group. In Barstow, the finalists are: Barstow Community Hospital, Barstow Tire & Brake and Revolutions Barstow Bowl.

Apple Valley Communications, Mojave Copy & Printing, Inc. and Wal-Mart Distribution Center were named finalists in Apple Valley. ICR Staffing Service, Inc., Mojave Copy and Printing, Inc. and Southwest Gas Corporation were named finalists among the Victor Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Within the High Desert Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Bounce Realty, Edible Arrangements and El Pescador Seafood and Mexican Grill were named finalists.

A banquet Saturday will recognize the finalists and eventual award winners. The banquet, which is planned to be an annual event, will run 5 to 8 p.m. at the Apple Valley Town Conference Center, 14955 Dale Evans Parkway.
